The Real Stuff

Everyone always asks how I got into this. It’s 2010, and I’m new to San Diego. I need my brows “waxed,” so I find a local spot in my little beach town. Turns out, it was sugaring. That’s also the day I learned what a Brazilian was and honestly, my whole life changed.

When I moved back to Indiana in 2019, I had no idea what would come next. And now, here we are in 2025, a book full of incredible women, a much bigger space with a glowing LED sign, and a never-ending curiosity about women’s health and how it shows up in the skin no one talks about.

Somewhere along the way, this work became second nature. I realized I have something to offer: the real, unfiltered truth about what’s actually normal. You can’t faze me after a decade of Brazilians. Bring me your bumpy, your darkened, your insert-whatever-insecurity. I can help. Or just come as you are, and we’ll remind you it’s not just you.

As a spa coordinator at Simply Sugaring, my main focus is on keeping things running smoothly and making sure our clients have an amazing experience. I'm all about the details and staying organized, which helps me handle appointment schedules and answer any questions our clients may have. Creating a welcoming and relaxing environment is something I take great pride in. I love making people feel welcomed, pampered and refreshed, and I always strive to leave a lasting positive impression. Building strong relationships with our clients is important to me, and my friendly nature and great communication skills help me do just that. Beyond being a Spa coordinator at Simply Sugar, I’m a wife and mom of two plus a daughter in law! I am an animal lover especially dogs! I love a good glass of wine and visiting wineries!
